It Came From Beyond Midnight Episode 1: Creature

Over the next few weeks I will be posting all of the old episodes of Midnight.

Our first episode of It Came From Beyond Midnight.   Yeah, it's really rough and Joe is obviously nervous but we get better, I promise.   The movie is 1985's Creature from William Malone starring Wendy Schaal and nutbag sleazehound Klaus Kinski.  Not that bad, but not a good movie either...

  1. I watched the episodes on The Spoony Experiment after hearing about them on Jackalope.

From what I saw, I give it an honest A-. Some of the comments during the "God Told Me To" episode made me squirm a bit but overall it was a damned good show.

Are there any more shows going to be posted? I made it halfway through Phase IV and couldn't find any more episodes.

  2. I plan to put more up on here in the next few weeks. You can find all of them on my blip.tv page http://1201beyond.blip.tv/posts?view=archive&nsfw=dc they are all there.

Just curious, what was the stuff on God Told Me To that made you squirm?

  3. Some of the imagery of Christ during the comment section. It wasn't overtly offensive but I can see how some would get butthurt over it. I grew up in a firebreathing Southern Baptist church so I get that squirm reflex on occasion.

I'll check out the rest of the shows ASAP!

  4. I forgot to add the part where Spoony does the Jesus hole thing was a real squirmer.

That was probably more due to seeing without his shirt off though

  5. In a way I was trying to offend some people (I am a hardcore athiest) but overall I just wanted it to be funny.

We have 6 episodes with Spoony, 3 with Brad (so far) and I have about 12 more nearly complete ones sitting here, that Spoony was unable to do his part for (he got sick).

  6. Well it's too bad the show was shelved, it was damned good. I look forward to catching the rest of them.

  7. It was not so much shelved as it evolved, I have a new one coming out called Plan 10 From Beyond The Other Dimension that will be similar but different.

  8. Nice! Is it going to be a local thing, or on the net?

Just please, no more Warriors of the Wasteland. That one is almost impossible to watch while sober.

  9. Net. Warriors might be one of the movies but there will be alot that people have not seen in decades. Films more or less lost to time...

  10. Once a decade might be enough for me. Then again the Mad Max ripoffs were head shoulders above some of the Conan ripoffs that were made around the same time. Remember Ator The Fighting Eagle?

I will surely keep my ear to ground for the new show. Back to Phase IV!
